Have you ever struggled to read a menu in a dark restaurant, a newspaper article, or a label on a small bottle?  Sure you have - we ALL have!  But, did you know that your iPhone is full of handy little features including a BUILT-IN magnifying glass?
The iPhone's built-in magnifying glass uses the camera but you have to turn the feature on in order to use it.

To turn on the magnifying glass feature on your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Accessibility.  Then, find Magnifier and turn it on.

Now that the magnifying glass is turned on, let's try it out!  To access the magnifying glass at any time, simply press the Home key three times (a.k.a. the iPhone's belly button).  This will open the magnifying glass screen.
Once the magnifier opens, slide the yellow circle to zoom in and out!  That's all there is to it!

Need a light?  Press the lightening icon to turn on a light while you magnify!

Want to lock the focus?  Press the lock icon to prevent the focus level from changing while you are magnifying.
Would you like to FREEZE what you see in order to magnify a specific area?  Press the white circle to freeze the image on the screen - once the image is frozen the circle will have a yellow border.  Now, you can zoom in and out on the frozen image!  To unfreeze the image, press the white circle again!

Give it a try - your eyes will thank you!
