Recently, my supervisor showed me a really handy trick for working with attachments in Outlook. When I saw it, my mind was BLOWN - it was so easy and so USEFUL! And I tried it in Gmail and the trick works there, too!
Did you know that Outlook allows users to drag an attachment from one email message to another AND drag an attachment DIRECTLY TO THE DESKTOP for quick saving? And it is really THAT easy - just click and drag!
To add an attachment to an additional email, first, make sure that the email with the attachment is in a new window so that both of the messages are visible. Then, click the attachment and DRAG IT to the new message. The file will automatically attach to the new message!
To add an attachment directly to your desktop, minimize your email window so that you can see part of your desktop. Then, click and drag the file directly to your desktop!
